About the Event

For all of the "woolie" enthusiasts out there, the Lanark County Quilters Guild is holding this workshop on Tuesday March 25, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Perth Lions Hall, 50 Arthur St., Perth, ON K7H 3E3.


Your instructor will be Jane Burke, Guild President and confirmed wool junkie.


You will make a journal cover in this workshop.  You will learn how to:

  • use wool to add texture and depth to quilts

  • incorporate wool appliqué into smaller, everyday projects

  • embellish wool appliqué with embroidery

  • samples of quilts & small home decor projects will be on display as well as sample resources for design ideas of your own

The workshop fee is $32.00 for members of LCQG and $40.00 for non-members, plus the cost of the wool/supplies kit, currently being developed. The kit cost will be payable to Jane and be provided to you on the day of the workshop.

Then make payment by e-transfer to lcqgfinance@gmail.com . 


Instructions for pre-work will be provided prior to the workshop.
