Quilts on the Tay

Our 2023 quilt show was a great success. Held Friday, July 7 and Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Smiths Falls Memorial Community Centre we had more than 300 quilts on display, 17 vendors, a packed Member Boutique with items for a sale and a busy lunch room.

Thank you to everyone who attended, and all member who helped make the show what it was!

Planning begins shortly for our 2025 QOTT!

Guild Spring Retreat

A yearly event held in the spring, Guild members gather for 2.5 days of dedicated sewing, away from distractions and chores. Stay tuned for information on our 2024 retreat.

Sew Days

Quilting is a social hobby; the Lanark County Quilters Guild recognizes the importance of being able to gather with friends to sew, chat and share. During COVID we met online via ZOOM and we will continue Virtual Sew Days on the 1st Tuesday of the month, starting Oct 3, 1 to 4p.m. Read more here

Guild Gatherings

COVID forced many guilds, including the LCQG to pivot to online meetings. But we also knew members were missing being together. So we launched "Guild Gatherings". These are one-stop get togethers hosted by the Social Committee, Membership, Program and Library. Depending on the health protocols, we met outside, with hot chocolate to keep us warm!

"QT" or Quilt Time!

Join fellow Guild members, Tues Dec 5 at the Lombardy Agricultural Society Hall for the 2023 QT!

Our yearly "QT" is a fun-filled December gathering  where fellow Guild members enjoy chatting while handcrafting, such as knitting, embroidery, hand sewing, knitting, applique, needlepoint and quilts to finish—all over a wonderfully catered lunch. And let's not forget the games! Get to know a guild member you have never spoken with before.
