Love Letters
This year I thought it would be fun to make Mini quilts. This quilt is titled “Love Letters”.
With all the drama we experience in the news every day, I wanted us to make something positive. Each block (and there are 16) reminds us of the things in our lives that make us feel loved; both romance and friendship.

You only need your scrap fabric. It’s not necessary to buy any fabric,

The block measure 3 ½ inches square unfinished. Not an overwhelming project.

Small enough to do by hand or by machine,

The blocks are portable. Place the instructions and the fabric in a baggie and take them with you wherever you go,

I think you will enjoy the theme as well as the blocks themselves and

There will be some surprises along the way!
I will be sending home 2 blocks each month for you to sew. In order to make the 32 blocks for the mini quilt you will need to do 2 of each block.

Block #1 – Love Letters
I know that I am dating myself when I say that it was always wonderful to receive a letter or card in the mail. Someone had taken the time to write to you and keep in touch or send a birthday card to wish you the best.
Block #2 – Quilts Mean Love
We all know how much love goes into making a quilt specifically with someone in mind. Anyone who has received such a gift knows what an honour it is. It certainly is an exciting present to receive.
