October’s Block of the Month is based on a barn quilt in Brussels, Ontario.
The pattern is a Wheel incorporated into the traditional Corn and Beans pattern. It highlights the three crops used in rotation: corn, soy beans and white beans. The wheel signifies the important role technology plays in farm production.
