Two projects will be done this year for Outreach: “Fidget” quilts or touch quilts and the Outreach Quilt. Loree is thinking of doing the Outreach quilt as a weekend in-town retreat for cutting, piecing, and assembling the quilt top and to be done in February 2016. She would like to encourage the beginner and new members to plan on joining in. The touch quilts or QUIRKY QUILTS are also known as Sensory Quilts. They are only 20″ X 25″ as a guideline and an insert is included in the October newsletter. Stop by the Outreach table for information on both. C.
