February 2022 Show & Tell

From finished quilts from the Cheryl Lynch workshop, to multiple blocks from our 2021-22 Block of the Month program, guild members were busy this month!

Joyce Kirkham: Quilt Pattern Nebula by Jaybird Quilts. This was a Block of the Month and featured Tula Pink Fabrics. The focus was on the piecing of each block. Jen Swallow of Happy Wife Quilting did the quilting.

Joyce Kirkham: My first attempt at Paper Piecing love the design but very time consuming. Pattern is Glacial Snowflake by Balcony Quilt Studio. This was a workshop I took.

Susan Cherry: I am taking part in a block of the month through Quilters Barn and Gifts in Russell. Coordinated by Marie-Claire Charette, there are at least eight different groups working on "My KindaTown". Thus is my first house - Amelia's Cottage.

Anita Payne: This is a 4" x 11" piece done for a challenge for the Land Between pod of SAQA, Studio Art Quilt Associates on the theme "A slice of the Land Between". The inspiration was a photo I took of the island across from me on Black Lake one misty October morning.

Cathy Price: This is my piece Tiny Town from the Cheryl Lynch workshop. I loved the process. It is about 11X14.

Suzanne Stephens: Last month I took the Cheryl Lynch mosaic class and loved it. Attach is the bouquet of flower mosaic I did from the class instructions.
