June 2016 Meeting Review

Once again we had a wonderful potluck meal before our last meeting of the year.  We all had a great time shopping with Grantham Books.  There were lots of quilts in the Show and Tell and lots of door prizes.  The President asked for volunteers to audit the books.  Donations are still needed for the Fall Sale.  There was an early bird draw from the list of names who have already donated, with Diane Gallagher the winner.  The fall retreat is October 11 – 13, 2016 at the McIntosh Inn in Morrisburg. The new Program Coordinator handed out a survey to the membership to get a better understanding of what people want for Trunk Shows and Workshops. The President recognized the hard work of all outgoing and remaining Executive members and introduced the new ones. With the Canada’s 150th Anniversary in 2017, the incoming President announced the President’s Challenge in 2016/2017 to go along with this.  The specifications for this Challenge were handed out. Another year done. C.
