September is the beginning of a new series of Block of the Month. The blocks have been selected to be quick and fun to make and bring out your creative spirit. You’re encouraged to use your imagination: play with fabric and colour, use embellishments, or experiment with the embroidery stitches on your machine. You can make just a single block or join us in the challenge of making a row-by-row quilt.
September’s Block of the Month is an easy house block. House blocks have held a long tradition in quilt making and have come to represent home, warmth, love and security. Try making it with traditional fabrics or go whimsical – your choice!
