Library Day & Cookie/Hot Chocolate Treats a HIT

The joint Library Day and 30th Anniversary Cookie/Hot Chocolate giveaway was a great success!

Rescheduled to Friday, Nov 27, the weather cooperated and dozens of Guild members gathered — physically distanced, of course — in the parking lot of the Lions Hall to socialize, pick up a Library book, drink hot chocolate and eat cookies.

Many books were returned; 37 new books/rulers were taken out; and there were many requests to keep the books that members borrowed in October. Guild Librarian Moira Bell reports that in total there are currently 72 books/tools that have been borrowed from the library this year.
