We had a surprise change for the October meeting. The Kanata Quilt Guild will be coming to do a trunk show for us in November, and we were lucky to have Irene Dewar, our Instructor for the upcoming Red Pepper Jelly workshop, share some of her works with us.
In addition to seeing Irene’s works, we had a full lot of 40 items for our Show and Tell from our members and a glimpse into the first rows from our Block of the Month. Our newer members who requested name tags were also welcomed as part of the evening. A reminder to give some thought to the 25th Anniversary Guild Quilt Challenge – and yes, it must include a door in the quilt somewhere.
