“Show me the way home” December BOM

December’s Block of the Month is based on a barn quilt in Seaforth, Ontario named “Show Me the Way Home”. The number 4 is a very prominent number in the owner’s life so this barn quilt was designed with 4 pieces of each predominant colour. The orange pieces represent a windmill, a symbol of their Dutch heritage.

For members of Block of the Month, your pattern will be emailed to you on Monday December 14th.

How are you coming along with your blocks? Take some photos of your favourite ones to share at January’s Show and Tell. We’re setting aside a special time at our January meeting just for Block of the Month.

To join the Block of the Month, send me an email at lanarkcountyquilters@gmail.com.
