2023 Show & Tell Off to a Strong Start

Although virtual, our first Show & Tell of 2023 was a blockbuster hit, with a wide selection of gorgeous quilts, table runners, pillows, bags and completed blocks from our Block of the Month program. (Remember to click on any photo to enlarge it.)

Linda Lake: Brown Bag Mystery Quilt 2022

Linda Lake: Pattern and kit by Patti Carey called “Savannah”

Linda Lake: “Love Stinks” – Pattern by Art East Quilting Co.

Marlene Spruyt: Some of the things I’ve completed trying to clean up my bins of scraps. The Tinner’s quilt is a greater than 15 year UFO. (first) I finally completed this quilt which was a block exchange when I lived on Manitoulin. (second)

Marlene Spruyt: Some fun pillows I’ve been working on.

Gwen DaCosta

Jan Ward-Shipton: “Black Tie” quilt made by myself. I machine quilted it on a longarm at Happy Wife Quilt Shop. (my first time using a longarm)

Shelley Moore: Here are two baby quilts I recently finished. The quilting doesn’t show up well, but the elephant quilt for my great-niece has a super cute pantograph of elephants with a tiny flower inside. The turtle quilt is for my great nephew. Both quilted by Janice Trudel.

Muriel Hopper: Competed just in time for Christmas… a table runner for my son and daughter in law

Muriel Hopper: What a wonderful Christmas, I finished this lovely Cat Kit quilt for my granddaughter, who is in university. She loves cats and loved her quilt gift. It has a flannel backing, no batting, so it’s a light quilt to wrap around. I quilted it on my home machine which was fun.

Carol Darou: A huge new king-size quilt for me, that I finally got around to quilting.

Carol Darou: A pillow I made for one of the kids next door using a leftover block from last year's challenge.

Sandra Blair: This is an “Eye Spy” quilt I made for my granddaughter. One side is from a book for a younger child and the other side is a panel for and older child.

So it will grow with her.

Kathy Smallwood: 3 Bags for 3 friends!

Kathy Smallwood: Barbados Bag by Pink Sands Design

Linda Hamon: I took a table runner class at Sew Crafty and made a set for myself and also adjusted the same pattern for the monochromatic challenge in blue.

Members have been busy completing their Block of the Month program.
