October Show & Tell

I guess I'm presenting the Guild Challenge this year. I whipped up a couple of samples and set up a small display for everyone. Looks like lots of interest. We are doing DON'T TOUCH THE QUILTS. Just 8" X 10", horizontal or vertical. They must be quilted, bound, and have a hanging sleeve.  Viewer's Choice is in May.

Sign up for the Xmas QT was right at the Membership table. Got my name on there. It will be held at the Perth Legion on December 3rd from 10am until 2pm. Prizes and games. Bring your handwork.

Dropped off my wee blocks for display at the Block of the Month "Home Sweet Home" table. I'm really enjoying doing these. I have included a collage photo of the blocks brought in.

Rosalie of Sew Crafty in Rideau Ferry stepped in as Shop of the Month. Ooooo love fabric.

Our Presenter was Bonnie Rankin, long time Quilt Judge, and Past President of the CQA/ACC and a Jury Coordinator for Quilt Canada. Her presentation of winners and explanation of what judges look for was well received. Lots of great tips if you were ever thinking of entering your quilt into a Juried Show.

It was a very information packed evening.
