The Prince Edward County Quilter’s Guild has 3 spots open for a workshop on Saturday, March 17, from 9:30-4 called “All Boxed Up”.
Taught by Marnie Hicks (from Kingston), Marnie describes her workshop as follows:
“All boxed up” is a courthouse steps log cabin. The pattern shows the traditional way to piece it, but I will show you how to paper piece it without going through the paper. The benefit is that all the blocks are exactly the same size which makes putting the quilt together a breeze. There is no picking out of paper as with other paper piecing techniques. The blocks are all the same size but the fabric placement make them look like they are floating. I hope you like it. The men coming into the store are drawn to it.
The workshop is $30.
