February Meeting on Zoom

Welcome back to our second Zoom Meeting of the year.  Hopefully we will be meeting in person next month, but that depends on the weather.

Our Spring Retreat, "Stitching out of Hibernation", is FULL.  How awesome is that? Those ladies are going to have a wonderful 3 days.

We were given a reminder regarding the Guild Challenge, "Improv for Everyone".  These are due at the May meeting.  I guess I better get mine quilted.  I'm definitely looking forward to seeing them all.

There are 2 blocks for Block of the Month for February, The Damselfly and the Butterfly.  I got mine done, they are in the Show & Tell this month.  I hope you are enjoying doing these as well.  Great design, Alexis.

Our Presenter this evening, Johanna Masko, and "Let's Talk Colour and Print" was excellent.  Lots of information and lots of eye candy, and great ideas on mixing solids with prints.

This month's Shop of the Month was Quiltatious https://www.quiltatious.ca/.  John and Maya actually did a video earlier in the day of everything they had, so they could talk without walking around at the same time lol.  They had a lot of fabric for their on-line orders.  Check them out.

We have upcoming workshops: April 28, 2026, Embroidery & Colouring with Lynne Rochette from 1pm to 4pm, sign-up on the Website.  May 23, 2026,

9am to 4pm, Landscape Quilt Workshop with Jane Roswell.

Plans are in progress for another Calendar, that's exciting.

See you next month, I'll be there. Cathy
