November Show & Tell

What an awesome night! This will be the last meeting until January, but we still have our QT Luncheon & Sew Day in December. Hope to see everyone there. We are doing ornaments again, and have been told that there will be a Christmas tree at our next Quilt Show to show all of our ornaments off, from the last 2 years. Cool!

The block for this month for the Block of the Month is The Dragonfly. I got my pattern the Friday before the meeting, so I got my 4 done. It was  a lot of fun.  Other members brought their completed blocks from September and October.  This quilt is going to be so cool looking.

We were given more ideas for our Guild Challenge 'Improv for Everyone', as some members took a workshop during the day, giving them a chance to do some improv.

Anita Wong was our Guest Speaker.  She brought a lot of inspirational pieces. Great Presentation.  Mad Moody Quilting Fabrics was our Shop of the Month. OOOOOOOO so much eye candy!

We brought in lots of items for donation to both The Table Community Food Centre in Perth, and the Smiths Falls Community Food Bank.

We were also told that there is planning in the works for another Calendar and Note Card project in the New Year.
