October 2017 – Upcoming Meeting

Because we didn’t have our Quilt Show this year, we are getting the 150th Anniversary of Canada quilts at our General Meeting on October 24, 2017.  They will be set up in the hall for everyone to enjoy.  Heather Buchan will be giving a talk about the history of our Guild.  Our Shop of the Month will be Jennifer Hamilton from Maberly.  Our Christmas Sale & Luncheon will be Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 11 am to 2 pm at Glad Tidings Pentacostal Church, 160 Wayside Drive.  All items for donation should be brought to this meeting, and signing up for making sandwiches and treats needs to be done at this meeting, as well.  Program will be announcing our Guild Challenge at this meeting.  Our UFO Challenge is happening again this season, it was very popular last year.  Our Christmas QT (quilting together) date has been set for Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the Civitan Hall.  The sign-up sheet will be at this meeting, and money will also be due at sign-up.
